So as most of you know, I am obsessed with all things Disney. Yes, I know, aren’t I too old to love Disney… well the answer is, no.
One of my favorite quotes from Walt Disney is…
“Laughter is timeless, Imagination has no age, and Dreams are forever.”
I actually got this tattooed on me a few years ago!
But going back to the quote… “Imagination has no age” It doesn’t matter how old you are.
For me, every time I go to Disneyland I feel like a kid again. We all need this every now and again. Life gets stressful with work, kids, chores, bills… sometimes it’s nice to get away and feel like you have no responsibilities. Just you and your friends/family at the Happiest Place on Earth!
This is my 3rd time visiting Disneyland in a year. I went in August for my bachelorette party, I went in December for our honeymoon, and now we are headed there again this coming Thursday!
I took a poll on my Instagram asking you guys if you would like me to do a blog post on cute outfit ideas for Disneyland, and majority said yes!
This first look is a more subtle Disney look. I paired my favorite overalls with a cute black crop top! Now, you may be thinking… this is not Disney, you could wear this outfit anywhere!
Well yeah you could, buuuuut…. I paired it with my all-time favorite Dooney and Bourke cross body purse! This is the cutest purse ever, and the perfect size!
You also can’t go to Disneyland without some kind of ears! So to top it off, I used my 60th Anniversary ears! Another idea would be, just regular Minnie Mouse ears! Minnie’s colors are black, red, and white, I would match her perfectly!! My black crop top and red ears would match her perfectly!
P.S in case you were wondering, yes, that is a tattoo on my arm that says Happily Ever After. I’m just a little obsessed. 😉
Now for the second outfit, this shirt is actually from Target, but about 3 years old. So I haven’t been able to find it online or in stores. However, I linked a very similar one!
This varsity tee is perfect paired with some cute denim shorts/pants. Not to over the top, but just enough to support the mouse!
Another thing I love doing when planning a trip to Disneyland is order iron on decals from Etsy! They usually have some super creative stuff!
I don’t know about you guys, but my hubby is not a fan of matching Disney shirts. He will do it, because he knows it makes me happy, but it won’t be without a complaint or two!
Here are some of the shirts I made in December for our honeymoon trip!
Thank you for living a day in the Life Of Sawdey!
