1. Write my weekly goals!
One thing that I really need to work on, is setting goals and sticking to them. A lot of times, life gets in the way of things I need to do and they just don’t get done. So I thought it would be fun to do a new blog post every Monday with my goals for that week.
Lately I have been slacking on my workouts. After work, I am just so exhausted that the last thing I feel like doing is exercising. It’s also really hard because usually when I don’t feel like doing a full on work out I will go for a hike or a jog. However, with the time change, it gets dark so early, that by the time I get off at 5:30pm, it’s already dark. I also have mentioned before that I had a heart condition called SVT, which is when you get an extremely high BPM. I had to get surgery for this back in November 2015 and thankfully haven’t had any issues sense! However, I do occasionally get the feeling that it may be starting up again, so I really want to make sure I complete this goal. Due to not having the strongest heart, I need to do everything I can to keep it healthy!
3. Quality time with the hubby!
As everyone knows, this Wednesday is Valentine’s Day! Matt and I usually don’t plan anything fancy, usually everywhere you go is so packed! We would rather stay home, make dinner together and watch a movie. Sometimes life gets in the way, but it’s really important to put time aside for your loved ones. So this week I am going to make sure to set aside some special time with the hubby to go on a date and just enjoy each other’s company!
4. Plan out blog posts!
A lot of times, I will write down topics, but wait till the day of to type them out. I want to try to utilize my weekends to write out all my blog posts, so I have them ready for the week. It will be a lot easier on me to have them ready to go when its posting time. I feel like everyone has their way of doing it, but I think this will help me stay a lot more organized and ready just in case things come up during the week and I’m not able to post!
5. Get Ed Sheeran tickets!
I’m sure you all saw, but for those of you who didn’t, Matt and I’s wedding song was “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran. It just so happens that he is playing in our city of San Francisco on our 1 year wedding anniversary. Matt’s not really into Ed’s sappy music, but he agreed that this was just to good to be true! So this week is when the tickets are released and I am prepared for anything!
Thanks for living a day in the Life Of Sawdey!
