We try to set new goals for ourselves every week. Not only do we set goals for ourselves, but we set goals together.
For ex. Let’s make it a goal to go hiking together every morning for a week straight.
Now to some people, that doesn’t sound like a goal, because for some, its an everyday routine, but for us this has always been a very difficult challenge. We both work fairly early, and don’t go to sleep until relatively late, so waking up at 5 am to go for a hike is definitely a goal we have a hard time achieving.
This week we are going to share our goals with all of you! We will set separate goals, and our goal together and see if we can accomplish it by next Monday.
Matt’s goal for this week is to save money. Although this is something that is more of a life goal rather then a weekly goal, it is still something that needs to happen. You can say over and over “I need to save money, I’m so broke!” But how often do you actually save the money? Never? Yeah same.
Brianna’s goal for this week is to eat healthier. For the past few months, it has been diet cokes every morning and at least 2 sweets a day. NOT OKAY.
Especially if I have to fit into my wedding dress in 4 months!
So this week, not only are we making these our goals but we are going to make a plan to make sure these get done, because a goal without a plan is just a wish.
Now, for our couple goal this week….
We are making it our mission to do a 15 min exercise every day!
I know it doesn’t sound like a lot, but we are going to start slow, and each week work our way up!
Gym memberships are so expensive now days, and god knows we don’t have any extra money to be spending right now.
